I finished pages 3 and 4 of the Kurgan gallery. I forgot how tedious it was making thumbnails. I have 90 more to go which I will hopefully finish up on Monday or Tuesday. It doesn’t help that he looked so much better in the beginning of the movie. What were they thinking with the whole shaved head thing?
You might be wondering if I’m aware that probably nobody is looking for 270 pictures of Clancy Brown as a barbarian madman. It’s likely true, but it does give me an excuse to look at them all again. It’s strange how four years after starting this shrine, I’m still enamored with the Kurgan.
I’ve basically got the theme finished for my blog now and I’ve made it public:
Misfit Army Wife
It’s pretty self-explanatory. I’m an Army wife and I’m a misfit and I’m definitely a misfit among other Army wives. Essentially, it’s a place for me to vent about everything. I can be a pretty bitchy person at times and I think a lot of civilians only see the pretty picture that everyone wants to paint about Army life. I don’t paint pretty pictures (actually, I do because I’m an artist, but that’s not the point) so expect to see a lot of complaining. Even if you think you know how dumb the Army can be, you have no idea. 
Okay I think I’ve finished tweaking this layout. The colors were all wrong on the comments and with the edits I made to the original theme, you couldn’t read some of the text. I think this looks much nicer.
I’m working on getting a good theme designed for my personal blog right now. It might take a little while because I’m working another site at the same time. I think we’ve almost got that one the way we want it, so I’ll be able to focus more on ToyBoxOrphan soon.
So, I decided that I could spend more time on actually making sites by using WP. Yes, it’s cheating. A least, it feels like cheating but I still took the time to customize a theme. In fact, there will probably be further customization and more themes periodically just to keep things interesting. This is much easier to update.
