But if I'd been unlucky (and not thought ahead to choose a flight around his nap time) I would've loved to have an area to take him to so I wouldn't feel just that embarrassed he was disturbing everyone else. This idea that you remove unruly children used to be pretty standard. Churches had "cry rooms" where you take the kids when they will not settle down. Geez, that was so horrible, to make arrangements so everyone got what they needed? I’m fortunate I only had to fly with my kid one time, and he’s a pretty calm kid.
